Science Falsely So Called

Our family watched this sermon just last week, and we wanted to share it here for you all to enjoy and learn from also!  We LOVE learning all about science guided by what we read in God's word, and enjoy learning it together as a family.

Just last week, our pastor loaned us the Creation Seminar DVD's by Dr. Kent Hovind!  We think they are AMAZING!   Very educational, informative and SO funny too!  :)

In the above video, the Pastor Anderson correctly points out (using the Bible) that there are many people today who are willingly ignorant of God's creation, the flood and the coming judgement.  There are many "scoffers" today who think God's word is a joke, and that the Genesis account of the creation is a nice fairytale, at best.  The public schooling system ranks highly amongst the "scoffers".  It makes me scratch my head with wonder, when confessing Christians, send their precious children into an institution, designed to indoctrinate them into a socialist mindest, and cause them to doubt the infallible word of God!  It just doesn't make sense to me.  But hey, at least they'll be "socialised" *giant eye-roll*

We have a duty as parents to educate our own children as we are instructed to in the Bible (Deuteronomy 6), this includes teaching them all about God's creation from the womb!  We should be ever so careful to avoid "science falsely so called".

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust,
avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith.
 Grace be with thee. Amen
 ~ 1 Timothy 6:20-21

Shalom and thanks for the post. Back in Feb. of this year we had Ken Ham of Answers In Genesis here in Bermuda for a Conference on Creation vs Evil--u-tion. It was great! If you have not already done so; please check out answers in Genesis web site. They have great teaching tools there for children as well.
