A Date Has Been Set!!!

Oh yes a date has been set; Brian, Amy and I, will all be baptized together on the second Sunday of September!!!   We are SO excited!!!

This is something the three of us have been waiting a long time for.  We are now in a church that we LOVE being a part of.  We love our church not from a personal "preference", but because we have come to know that they stand firmly on Gods' word!  Our pastor always preaches and teaches straight from the Bible.  We are blessed to have found a wonderful church in such a lost country.

We will be baptized all together after the Sunday service, in a pool just a few minutes away.  Then we'll all head back to the building for fun, fellowship and food!

"Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture,
and preached unto him Jesus.  And as they went on their way,
they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said,
See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart,
thou mayest.  And he answered and said,
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
And he commanded the chariot to stand still:
and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the
eunuch; and he baptized him.  And when they were come up out of
the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip,
that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing."
~ Acts 8:25-39
