Good Evening Sarah. I wish to clarify my previous comment's reference to FWBC. We listen to sermons on sermon audio on the Lord's Day and we have not as yet listened to Pastor Anderson's sermons, although I did watch the discussion he had with Dr.James White which is on youtube in which they discussed KJV-onlyism. We have been listening to two Pastors (Dr.Charles Curtman and Pastor Laurence Justice) on recent Sundays via sermon audio and found them very profitable. We do have some concerns about FWBC because they appear to be anti-Jewish. I noticed that they were wearing "Free Palestine" t-shirts on a recent soul-winning effort in Dearborn in the USA which we found deeply troubling because we stand with Israel, and her right to exist, and her right to defend herself. Dearborn looks like it has been virtually taken over by Muslims and that is deeply troubling and frightening. So while we do agree with some of Pastor Anderson's views on issues such as homosexuals, we draw the line at calling for their execution. Instead we believe that homosexuality and adultery should be re-criminalised, and those found guilty should be imprisoned. I hope this clarifies our position.

Sarah I have waited a long time for a response to my comment above. Can I expect a reply at all?

Susan-Anne White, I am sorry, but I saw nothing in your above comment that suggested that you would have been waiting for a reply from me. I had thought that you were just clarifying your position, not asking any questions? Also, I only blog in my spare time, so I don't always have time to check it every week.

From what we read in the Bible, our family do not exhalt any heathen nation above another, and therefore disagree with you on the Israel issue. God does not bless unbelievers, nor those Christians who "stand with", or "bless" those who openly deny His son:

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." ~ 2 John 1:9-11

As for the other issues you mentioned, we stand with the punishments that God has specified in His word.

If you don't listen to FWBC, and indeed have some concerns, I would suggest listening to some of the sermons (specifically on the issues you have specified) and listening with an open heart and Bible. You may be sursprised at what the Bible really says on those issues! :)

I will enclose some verses in support of my response:

"Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." ~ Romans 9:6-8

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." ~ Galatians 3:26-29

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." ~ Leviticus 20:13

"And the man that committeth adultery with [another] man's wife, [even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death." ~ Leviticus 20:10
